As soon as you walk in there is a bar with very friendly bartenders. Next up is the restaurant which has a carving station, all different kinds of cheese, fruits, hummus, chips, and several different kinds of salads. Everything is set up buffet style and you serve yourself.
The reality was that, due to limited staffing, it was closed. Complimentary coffee was available there....if you were lucky enough to find it. We were later told to just wave down the front desk person to get more coffee. I understand that, due to Covid, places are short staffed.

I spent 7 nights during the GBTA Convention here at the Moxy and had a good time. Only the noise due to the ventilation system was annoying. Great bar and staff and nice location with lots of games to play at night. Breakfast was good too and not too expensive. Short distances to all locations in San Diego. Especially convention center and Gaslamp District.

This hotel has been in business for a long time. The fixed decoration inside is a bit old. Especially the water pressure is very low and the bath is very uncomfortable.
It is very close to UCSD, which is great. I think the hotel itself is very clean and has just been built. I think the service was very good.
Hot water and coffee are available at the front desk every morning and a microwave is available in the hallway. The hotel buffet breakfast is relatively limited for Chinese people, and the surrounding transportation is convenient. Box is located to the batters right, on the 1st base side of the Padres Dugout, with an exceptional view of the entire field and scoreboard.
